This workshop will honour transitions and threshold times we cross as messy divine humans.

This workshop will honour transitions and threshold times we cross as messy divine humans. 8th March 2025.
Join me for a Mourning Morning – Moving on and Upwards and Onwards!
What do you associate with the word mourning?

Traditionally we mourn those that have left their earth journey and we miss them.
However this word can have great pertinence – be about engagement with rituals and reflections – in a beautiful manner rather than a sombre sad way.

Mourning for you, might also be something, someone, some place, some experience that is dead to you but lingers like an entity or shadow over your energetic being. The workshop is will be embodied, have yoga and movement, for often our body screams for – knows that we are truly beyond that time phase or experience in our life.

I see mourning as transition time and I’ll be exploring how self-reflexive mourning whilst in community practice allows you to be the new change you want to be.

We may be honouring a departure from – either complete or imminent – of a loved one – an animal – a physical place – a work period, emotional years of change in our lives ( eg maiden to mother – mother to crone) – the separation from a kong-term relationship- our children growing up and moving on or out. Even, the loss of the sense of your ‘self.’ (Longer read below)

The ‘mourning’ morning yoga and Satsang workshop will focus on release. Releasing the issues from our tissues.

We might use this workshop time to process an experience in our lives touching our core so deeply that we must mark it with ritual practice. Rituals are how humans have managed the sacredness of our Earth experience. Rituals allow us to make meaning of the complexity of life. We will use ritual combined with embodiment work. The body must not be allowed to be second to the mind. The body is also the mind.

The session will include yoga.

Whatever you feel the need to honour with me in ritual practice – bring this intention to the yoga mat altar. You may keep it private – you may wish to be supported by the collective humanity gathered in the room and share it. The choice is yours.

The Satsang gathering will follow the yoga experience. Satsangs are sacred and healing.

This morning is for you if you wish to be nourished cherished and nurtured.

Perhaps we might reflect on the following.

It’s not always the survival of the fittest. It’s also the survival of the nourished.
