Caroline will lead a series of 3 Saturday classes to explore a slower form of Vinyasa, with an emphasis on alignment.
Vinyasa yoga focuses on the flowing of movements made with your special attention and awareness
“I found my first yoga class over ten years ago and, after trying a few different styles of yoga, I continued to practice Iyengar yoga regularly. I loved the classes and particularly enjoyed the focus on alignment. Over time my posture, flexibility, and strength improved. Yoga also helped me to feel calm and centered.
I began practicing Vinyasa yoga and in 2019 I completed a Yoga Alliance accredited teaching qualification in Vinyasa and Yoga Therapeutics (with Yoga Therapies in Newcastle Upon Tyne). The training focused on Vinyasa, Yin, and Restorative styles of yoga.
My classes offer a slowed down flow working on alignment for each individual. The approach is functional, focusing on the intention of every pose and fine-tuning alignment according to the specific needs of each student.
I love the therapeutic aspect of yoga and aim to bring that to my classes, to ease tension and promote health and wellbeing. My classes are welcoming, friendly, and suitable for all abilities. All classes are designed around the principle that everybody is unique and tailoring alignment to suit each individual helps everyone to feel the benefits that yoga has to offer.”
