Workshop: Chanting Yoga Class + Satsang

Chanting has always been part of Kundalini yoga practice as a yogic superpower tool. We start and end class with chant – chant is often inegrated with an active posture – chanting helps us navigate the mental challenge life brings us.

There are so many benefits to chanting – imagine the uplift and vibrational joy chanting during a whole class will bring you as we enter the fullness of spring time? The sap is rising in nature outside – come and birth that same green energy inside you.

We will both banish any remnants of the sloth of winter and cut through the noise that drones inside our brains. The wrong noise !

This workshop uses sacred sound current ( instead of silence) – uses the power of ancient mantra to find a deeper peace leading to silence in you. By this I mean – silence the inner critic- the ‘to do list’ the ‘anxiety ruminations’.

Mantra cuts through time and space , works with the five elements, our chakra energy centres.

Mantra is the method we use to tune into the invisible instrument that is ourselves. Our bodies are sensitive to sound – we are a whole orchestra of instruments inside us.

Come and play with sound current whilst in postures.
Embody the sound current within you.

After the sound and yoga session we will have a Satsang gathering. The content will be revealed in session but will be part circle – part meditation and more. Satsang is sacred and so are you.

The morning will include
Welcome refreshments
Post practice refreshments.

Start – arrive from 9.30am
Practice starts prompt at 10am

12-1pm Satsang.

Departures by 1.30pm.
